BAJA EDITION

James has always like the Jeep Speed Cherokee's, So he built one. It was a long time coming and went thru many changes on it's way to the current build.

The Specs:

Engine;

4.0 Inline 6 cyl. .040” overbore. Mopar Performance stage 3 camshaft & Valve springs. Sealed Power 9.5:1 forged Pistons, Ported, CC’d and polished head. Borla stainless steel, powder coated header. Mustang 5.0L injectors. K&N Filter. Heavy duty radiator, heavy duty transmission cooler.

Front Axle;

Non-Disconnect Dana 30 High Pinion. 4.56 gears, Detroit Locker, chromoly 297 shafts with 760 Spicer joints held in with snap rings. Brutal Off-Road diff skid

Rear Axle;

Dana 44 4.56 Gears, Detroit Locker, Yukon H.D. Axle shafts, relocated lower shock mounts, Brutal Off-Road diff skid and Brutal Off-Road disc brakes.

Front Suspension;

Rubicon Express 5.5” coils, JKS Adjustable upper and lower arms, ACOS by JKS Bilstein 5150 14” travel Nitrogen shocks with remote reservoirs. Brutal Quick sway bar disconnects. Lower Control Arm mount reinforcement cages. Tom Woods Custom Drive Shaft’s 10” travel drive shaft.

Rear Supsension;

Rusty’s JeepSpeed sportsman series leaf springs, extended length shackles.

Rancho 9000 series shock absorbers. Tom Woods Custom Drive Shaft’s slip yolk eliminator system with premium long travel drive shaft.

Body;

1997+ front header panel and grille. Composite headlights with Zenon gas bulbs.

JeepSpeed series 6” bulge fiberglass race fenders. Custom hood vents. Clear front lenses and side marker lenses. Led bulbs used throughout. 55 Watt back up lights.

Body color is 2004 Land Rover G-4 Edition Tangere Orange. Front Pre-runner bumper, roof rack and rear bumper/tire carrier built by Brutal Off-Road.

Tires are 35”X 12.50”-15” Goodyear MTR’s mounted on

Bassett 15x8 IMCA/Wissota Inertia Enabled beadlocks.

Interior

Factory electric locks, windows, rear defrost and seats.

AutoMeter water temperature and trans temperature gauges.

Full carpets/insulation. GPS with color display and factory Air Conditioning.

This Jeep Cherokee is driven EVERY DAY for personal use.
